Review by hotel critic
During my recent business trip to Marseille, I had the pleasure of staying at Hôtel Beauséjour, a gem nestled right in the heart of the city. The location is truly perfect-a mere five-minute stroll to the vibrant Vieux-Port, immersing you immediately in the local culture and culinary delights. The room I occupied was cozy and equipped with a fan and cable TV, ideal for a single traveler like myself. I particularly appreciated the soundproofing, which provided a serene retreat after a long day of meetings, allowing me to recharge for the adventures ahead. The staff were exceptionally warm and accommodating, welcoming me with the genuine friendliness typical of island hospitality-a reflection that reminded me of my Bahamian roots. With free WiFi throughout the property and a private bathroom stocked with essentials, the hotel struck a wonderful balance between comfort and convenience. As a marine biologist, my travels are often focused on exploration, but it's equally important to unwind; this hotel provided just that, making it an excellent base for both business and leisure. Without a doubt, I would return to Hôtel Beauséjour, especially knowing how effortlessly it situates you for both discovering the stunning Mediterranean coastline and the rich heritage of Marseille.
